UPA replaced a large, fixed arched window that is on the 3rd floor. They did encounter a problem with the thickness of the gap between the panes on the day of the install but caught it before fully removing the original window. They were out the next business day to finish the job. First day it was raining; second day the wind was rather bad. No complaints from them. Also had them replace the fixed glass in french doors with ones that have the built-in blinds. We will use UPA again if the need arises.

Our Pet Door had to be installed with 2/3 of it into a full length Thermopane window and 1/3 into the door frame below. The job was done quickly and cleanup was thorough. These folks did a custom install for us in a small window. It's been perfect, they helped us figure out the right size even though our dog was just a puppy at the time, they were professional, easy to work with, and did a fantastic job. The place I wanted it installed made it difficult to slide the cover in from the top (for when you want to block off the door), but they figured out a super easy solution where they cut a little chip in the side so I can easily slide the cover in from the side and it fits securely. We have no problems with cold air coming in, which was a concern of mine when we were first looking, it's a really high quality door. We've had it for about 2.5 years now with no issues whatsoever, and our dog sprints in and out of it full speed all day long. It's so nice for our dog to be able to enjoy our backyard on his own schedule. If you're thinking about it, get your dog a door! It's nice to be able to get some fresh air without having to ask someone!

We had a great experience! We have French doors leading out to our deck and that was really the only place a dog door would work. They walked us through the pros and cons and pricing of switching to a sliding glass door with a dog door built in vs. keeping our French doors and adding a custom dog door to those. We decided to stick with the French doors and were so happy with the result I did a lot of research on the different dog-door-in-the-glass-door options, and this was by far the best option in my opinion. The process was quick and Trevor and the installer were both super friendly and helpful. I called afterwards because my dog was having a hard time pushing the door open (she’s small) and Trevor walked me through some work-arounds and even sent me a quick video he filmed on the spot to show me how to do what he suggested. 10/10 recommend these guys!

Really happy with the result! We had been using one of those dog door inserts in our sliding glass door for a couple years now. But our dogs are so big that the insert we needed was huge. It didn’t allow us access to our back patio area at all. I found Utah Pet Access online and they had exactly what we needed to get our back door functional again! It took our dogs a couple days to adjust to the new flap (old flat was much more flimsy) but they are using it great now! I would highly recommend them to anyone else that likes to invest in the welfare of their dogs.

We called to get pricing and make an appt. I called on a Friday, late afternoon. I was shocked someone answered and they had an appt for Monday afternoon. Loved! Utah Pet Access came highly recommended from a friend who had used them earlier in the year. They offer replacement glass like in my friends case or in my case they took out the entire sliding door and replaced it with our custom door. Words can not express how happy we are. We opted for the blinds built in as the room where the door is has several antiques that are light sensitive as well as an office so privacy is a must. Worth every penny and the wait for production time. The staff was also very friendly and great to work for. Prior set up : 5 foot sliding door with medium sized dog door insert. Weather striping was non existent, gaps everywhere that let air in and was energy wasting. New door : 5 foot slider with built in blinds, medium dog door bottom corner with frosted glass to the side for privacy where the blinds can’t reach.

We just got our new doggie door and I am very happy with the service we received from Utah Pet Access. After installation, I had a question about the new door. When I made the initial call, Brad was very helpful and willing to help right away. He called the person who installed the door and he called me back promptly. After answering a few questions, he offered to drive back to my house to help me. You don’t find customer service like this very often. Utah Pet Access did a great job with our dog door for my toy poodle! They were quick to get me on the schedule for a consultation and once all the materials came in, they were quick to get the door installed! I’m super grateful that they recommend having the french door next to the doggie door replaced so the blinds matched! I wouldn’t have even thought of that. The materials and workmanship is really good. We like how the doggie door is thick and a good weather barrier. The connection and magnet are strong enough to keep out drafts and winds but still easy enough for my 8lb toy poodle to easily run in and out.

We love our door! It has truly been a godsend, what with our big, energetic dog. She is able to rocket through at full speed any time she likes, and we don't have to worry about "messes" in the house when we are gone. We don't live in Salt Lake County, but they were willing to travel to our home twice - once to measure, once to install - and while here were professional, clean and fast. I will definitely call them again if we ever need another pet door!

The per door that was installed works great! It was installed in our existing door quickly and looks great. The dogs and cats have no problem using it and it’s pretty weather resistant as well.

A great purchase and my dog loves the door. It is in my glass double door and has a security lock and panel. Customer service is great. It is a bit of a cost but since they are the only ones doing a dog / cat door in tempered glass it is worth it. The only improvement I would suggest is to have the security door easier to put on.

It's a bit more expensive than replacing the door and installing a pet door, but I love the fact I got to keep most of the window glass. Team was punctual, and did great work. The dog door is high quality, withstanding two large dogs bolting through on a regular basis. Seals well, doesn't increase heating/cooling bills.

They were great!! I got a puppy and realized immediately that I couldn't survive training without a doggy door. I called them and it turns out they were booked out for a week or two. I told them my life would be miserable and they felt for me and said they would figure something out. They were able to come the next day, it totally saved me!! My door had an unusual sized window in it, and they were able to cut the door to fit the new piece no problem. It's also the best quality doggy door I've ever seen. I have A narrow sliding glass door so I never thought it would be possible to have a doggy door. When I heard about Utah Pet Access I decided to give them a try. The pet door they installed looks great, just like my door but with the doggy door on the bottom. They were very professional and arrived on time. The whole process took maybe 30 minutes or less! The pet door has been so great for training our golden puppy. He loves being able to go outside when he wants and training him was a breeze. I wish I would have called them years ago for my other dogs.

We've used this company twice now, at our old house and then in our new house. They are great to work with, fast, and do good work. I love their product! Even though it's on the more expensive side, I really like having the dog door in our sliding glass with no ugly dividing lines and a clean look. I've never noticed any air leaking through either way and I like the ability to lock it or secure it with the metal cover whenever we want. Our dogs have had no problems using it and it has held up great.

Friendliest Service / Awesome Product The team at Utah Pet Access have done a wonderful job with my XL dog door. It's the a great investment I made last September, helping my dogs come in and out as they please. The door itself was installed quickly, clean, and with ease. In the past few months my door had began getting caught a few times, leaving a small gap open. I assumed it was the hinge within the door itself. The Utah Pet Access team were very responsive to my concerns and willing to help. They came to investigate the issue with a quick remedy. The hairs between the door to keep air and other substances out were too long causing the door to stay open by a little over half an inch. Brad came out for the repair and now all is well. This company stands by their warranty claims and will help with your issues. I recommend their product / service greatly.

This was our second time using Utah Pet Access (we moved so needed it in our new house) and it is wonderful! Last time they replaced our french doors as well and did an excellent job! We got the plexidor both times and it is fantastic! I love that it doesn't flap and it seems to be really energy efficient compared to others. My dogs caught on really quickly on how to use it using just a few treats. Trevor was professional and was able to do the installation very quickly. Both he and his partner are friendly and genuinely seem to care about customer satisfaction. I have a friend that got one too after I told her how great our last one was and she loves it. I have another friend that is also planning to get one as well. This is a sanity-saver as we don't have to keep opening and closing the door for our dogs and they love the extra freedom. Trevor and the other employee did a fantastic job. We were about to pull the trigger on having a contractor come and cut a hole for a man door in our garage. We really didn’t want to but felt it was our only option. Then we heard an add on the radio for Utah Pet Access. Pricey, but like everything, get what you pay for. They went through our large glass door, and we are very happy with how it turned out. Quality doors, sometimes in the crazy Saratoga wind they can open an inch or 2 for a second until the springs bring it back shut. I use the key to keep the doors locked in place in that situation. Happy with the process start to finish- few months into it, and we’ll see how it continues to hold up!

Hands down the best place to go for pet door help here in Salt Lake. I worked with another company that said they couldn't do anything to help me. So frustrated I reached out to Utah Pet Access just for a second opinion and they were amazing. They were great to work with, showed up when they said they would, and were fast. One of the best experiences I have had since being here in SLC.

These guys rock! No more waking up at 3:00A.M. to let the dog outside. It feels so nice waking up after a full night of sleep. Because we have window panes in our exterior door, we hadn't been able to install a dog door. But now, thanks to this awesome company, our dog is free to come and go as she pleases! Everyone we worked with were extremely professional and helpful! Not to mention the old pane of glass had a worn seal and so we were able to hit two birds with the same stone. Just awesome!

I reached out to Bradley at Utah Pet Access from Sydney Australia, as I couldn't find anyone here who could help with mounting a Plexidoor to a single pane window. Bradley was incredibly helpful. He built the installation kit for me and shipped it, and a door all the way out here. He kept in touch to make sure everything was ok and sent me personalised videos to explain assembly and installation. If there is ever a Nobel prize for customer service then it is going to Bradley! I could not recommend him and his company more.

I needed a pet door for my daughter's Siberian husky that was visiting often. Did internet search and decided on this one because they install the door right into my french back door. It turned out better than i had expected. It has been almost 9 months since i had it installed This door is very sturdy and well built. No draft or small insects can come in.my neighbors are impressed with it and since now i am taking care of the dog, it has been working great for me and my dog. I highly highly recommend it even though it is a little pricy.

Btw, if anyone wants an amazing dog door that's associated to an amazing company that REALLY cares about their customers, then Utah Pet Access is is the one! I'm being completely serious, we are in the middle of moving, and we had a crisis involving our dog door, a week before we need to be out. I was going a little crazy, and even though I was rude to him, he was able to calm me down and solve my problem for me! Seriously, they are the BEST. I will be a customer of theirs FOREVER.
